Zuzana is from Slovakia where she spent her childhood. She did GCE A Levels at the Grammar School Gymnazium Eugena Gudernu Nitra, and then entered the University of Constantine the Philosopher where she earned an MA in Education (Child Development and Pedagogy) and then a PhD in Educational Technology. While earning her PhD, she worked at the university as a teaching assistant in the Education Technology department and did work with a UNESCO project. She participated in several international educational conferences
In 2003 she moved to the UK to do a course in English as a Foreign Language at a language college in Oxfordshire. She stayed and began working for Oxford University Press in the ELT Division and then for Oxford Brookes University in the Research and Business Development Office. Since 2010 she has been working as a teacher of IB Slovak A Literature at St. Clare’s College, Oxford, a long-established IB World School that was one of the first fifty schools worldwide to introduce the IB Diploma. Zuzana is also a keen gymnast, and is Head Coach for the Oxford Rhythmic Gymnastics Club working with students aged 2 to 18.
