Afrikaans- Lindie
Lindie grew up in South Africa but has lived in Hong Kong and now lives in Singapore where she is a teacher of IB Afrikaans Language A with two IB World Schools.
Albanian – Sirjusa
Sirjusa lives in Albania where she teaches and holds posts of responsibility in an IB World School.
Arabic- Waleed
Waleed is from Egypt where he has taught Arabic throughout the school. He has a strong interest in inquiry-based learning.
Wafa is a highly experienced IB Arabic A and B teacher who has also worked as a trainer of Arabic language teachers and with a variety of exam boards.
Shafag is a Professor of Literature at the Baku Slavic University and also teaches Language A at the International School of Azerbaijan.
Karalina was born and raised in Minsk, Belarus, and is now living in London where she has been involved with the IB Literature programme for many years.
Farjahan has had an extensive career as both a broadcaster and as a teacher of IB Bengali Language A with the Aga Khan School in Dhaka and at the International School of Dhaka as well as with SSST Bengali students at the the United World College of Maastricht
Rossitsa has many years’ experience as a teacher of IB Bulgarian at all levels of the curriculum in an IB World School.
Yee started her career working in a French bank in Hong Kong but soon felt a passion for teaching and has worked IB World Schools in London and Switerland.
Citing her favourite Croatian poet, Tin Ujević, Ivona shares this message with her students, “What I wish to dedicate to my descendants as a legacy would be: brightness….a crystal cube of brightness.”
Dana was born and raised in Czechoslovakia, where she attended Charles University, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Europe. She currently lives in London and works at an IB World School.
Lisbeth was born in Denmark but now lives in Oxford with her family where she teaches in two IB World Schools.
Dari- Bahman
Bahman lives and works in Afghanistan and having started as a teacher, has developed a career working with NGOs in the area of disaster relief, based in Kabul.
Dutch- Lief
Lief was born in Antwerp to a polyglot family and after studying Philosophy, Music and Languages in university, she cam as a young adult to the UK where she has taught Dutch to students of all ages, including IB students.
Dutch- Pauline
Ingrid was born in the Netherlands since coming to the UK has worked with Dutch government schools and also an IB School in Kent. She has taught IB Literature A and Language B. L
Sonam is a teacher of IB Dzongkha, the language of Bhutan, but he is also singer who has recorded many of his own compositions.
Farsi – Zahra
Zahra grew up in Iran and moved to London where she now teachers Farsi to students of all ages.
Eeva is Finnish by birth and education. Shortly after her marriage she moved to the UK where she teaches students of all ages, including IB students.
Finnish- Elina
Elina is Finnish polyglot who lives in the UK and has taught Finnish to students of all ages, including IBPYP, IBMYP and IBDP.
French- Angeles
Angeles was raised in France but is multilingual and fluent in French, Spanish and Catalan. She teaches at an IB World School in the UK.
French- Hélène
Hélène is French but grew up internationally and has continued her international journey to this day. She has taught French, German and English to adults and young people worldwide.
French- Julie
Julie is from France where she did her universities studies, but she has taught French all over the world and is now at at IB School in Romania.
French- Nathalie
Hélène is French and studied French Language and Literature at the University of the Sorbonne, but in addition to France, she has taught French to students of all ages in New Zealand and the UK.
French- Sagia
Sagia was raised in the north of France but now livs in Vienna where she works with several of our students and students in local IB Schools. She also has a passion for poetry and performance literature.
French – Margot
Margot is French but currently lives in Dublin where she teaches French and manages her own French language school.
