Le was born and grew up in Nam Dinh, a city 100 kilometres from Hanoi after the Vietnam War. She attended a boarding school for gifted students and later earned a BA in English Language Teaching from the Vietnam National University, College of Foreign Language in Hanoi. Soon after that she moved abroad to work as a lecturer for the collaborative program between Box Hill Institute, Melbourne, Australia and Hanoi Open University, Hanoi Vietnam and later in the role of Master Trainer.
She has participated in two master training courses. She earned a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from Australian VET, and then returned to Hanoi where she earned an MA in Language Teaching, again at Vietnam National University, College of Foreign Language, and then a Master Trainer Certificate from Box Hill Institute. She has gained experience coordinating language programs and training lecturers for the cooperation programs according to Australian Qualification Framework. She has more recently earned an IELTS Certificate from the British Council, and in true IB Life-Long Learning spirit, she is now working on her PhD in Vietnamese Language and Literature from Hanoi National University of Education. Le has also worked as a part-time English – Vietnamese translator for the projects funded by UNDP and Vietnam Ministry of Information and Technology in Hanoi.
For the past 5 years, Le has worked at an IB World School in Vietnam as a teacher of Vietnamese Language and Literature. She has been working intensively with students from MYP and DP Vietnamese courses and gained certificates from IB workshops.
