Jelena is originally from Serbia, but she moved to the US to study at the University of Houston where she earned a BA in Marketing. Upon earning her degree, she began teaching at Berlitz in Houston, and she then moved to New York and then to London where she undertook further training to become an IB Language A Teacher. Jelena taught IB Serbian Language A at Box Hill School in Surrey for two years, but has now moved to Dubai where she teaches in a British curriculum school. She has is raising two bilingual children. Jelena is also a fluent speaker of Portuguese, Spanish and French. (We look forward to hearing about Arabic!)
