Dana was born and raised in Romania. She studied at the University of Bucharest where she earned a Degree in Romanian and French, and then a Masters Degree in Didactics, and also an MA in Alternative Pedagogies and Theatre at the National University of Theatre and Film “I.L.Caragiale” in Bucharest. She also has a first degree teaching qualification, the highest qualification in Romania for teachers. She began teaching IB Romanian Literature at Diploma level at an IB World School in Bucharest. As an IB Educator she has participate in many IB training programmes and workshops both for IB Language A and for Theory of Knowledge in Zurich, Dublin, Rome and Oxford, in addition to other workshops and conferences for international school educators. She also writes poetry, and has translated files (French and English to Romanian).
